Advent of MAPS

Welcome to Advent of MAPS - a month long contest running throughout August, hosted by Monash Algorithms and Problem Solving. Click here to sign in.

Every day at 4 pm, a new problem will be released. Advent of MAPS consists of output only problems, which means that you do not have to submit your code — only a correct solution. Once you have signed in, you can open a problem and read the problem statement, as well as the sample test case.

Problems

Once you have logged in, you will be able to view your problem input, which will be in the same form as the sample input but larger. Write code to solve this larger input and submit it (next to the input button) to win points and move up the leaderboard! While a quicker solve will win more points, the number of problems solved will most likely be the deciding factor. Note that scores will be finalised after 11:59 pm on Sunday the 31st of August.

Prizes

Currently, the $500 prize pool for Advent of MAPS is planned to be distributed as followed:

• 1st place: $250
• 2nd place: $100
• 3rd Place: $80
• 4th Place: $50
• 5th Place: $20
